East Africa Optical Cable Project

This list was initially developed as part of AfTerFibre, a project to map terrestrial fibre optic cable projects in Africa. The project was sponsored by and, on completion, will be hosted by the UbuntuNet Alliance. All information gathered by the project will be publicly available under an open license. The EASSy project is an initiative to construct and operate a submarine fibre-optic cable along the east coast of Africa to connect 20 coastal and land-locked countries to each other and to the rest of the world. In 2010, HTI (Hentorial Telecom International- Dublin, Ireland) set up by the chairman of WIOCC, John Sihra, led this optical fiber submarine cable system. Ethio telecom, Djibouti Telecom and Sudatel Group have signed a Tripartite Agreement under the Horizon Fiber Initiative, marking a.

Infrastructure Low-Voltage Transformation Complete Sets of Equipment

Our portfolio comprises power distribution boards, busbar trunking systems, distribution boards, protection, switching, measuring and monitoring devices, switches and socket outlets. Whether in industrial plants or in buildings: Every technical system depends on a reliable supply with electrical energy. We help our customers, partners and equipment manufacturers to improve energy efficiency, asset reliability, productivity, safety and performance. Our high and low voltage complete electrical equipment solutions are designed based on a deep understanding of the current development trends in the power industry and accurate predictions of future power demand. This paper discusses the evolution of instrument transformers (ITs) and the recent rise of low-power ITs (LPITs) as an alternative to traditional magnetic induction-based ITs.
