Rabat – Nexus Core Systems, together with its international partners, has selected the outskirts of Casablanca to build a next-generation data center dedicated to artificial intelligence, representing a massive $1. Morocco has surpassed South Africa as the leading host of data centers in Africa, with 23 facilities. In 2020, the Agency for Digital Development published a roadmap listing digital infrastructure as a priority. In a significant move to bolster its status as a technological hub by 2030, Morocco is advancing a groundbreaking project dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI). The facility will serve domestic and international clients with hosting, storage, and data-processing services, and will be powered.
