In electronics, a transimpedance amplifier (TIA) is a current to voltage converter, almost exclusively implemented with one or more operational amplifiers (opamps). The TIA can be used to amplify the current output of Geiger–Müller tubes, photo multiplier tubes, accelerometers, photodetectors and other sensors (that are modeled well as a current source) into a usable voltage.

Almost any laser can be to produce for light at the wavelength of a laser made with the same material as its gain medium. Main types like EDFA, SOA, and Raman Amplifiers help you fix signal loss in long fiber networks. Optical amplifiers are a crucial component in modern optical communication systems, enabling the transmission of data over long distances without significant signal degradation.

They are either operated by (IDMs) that design and manufacture ICs in-house and may also manufacture designs from design-only (), or by that manufacture designs from fabless companies and do not design their own ICs. Some pure play foundries like offer IC design services, and others, like, design and ma.
