Brazil is a significant global consumer of optical fiber cables, ranking third worldwide in consumption volume in 2024. A new communication optical cable production base in Minas Gerais, Brazil, invested by YOFC BRASIL CABOS E SOLUCOES LTDA (hereinafter referred to as "YOFC Brasil"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of YOFC, was put into operation on September 19, 2023. We produce Optical, Automotive and Power Cables in Brazil, where quality is the fundamental premise and respect for the environment is integral. Parker, the Chair Professor of Management Science at INSEAD, has developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for optical fiber cables for those countries serving Brazil via exports, or supplying from Brazil via imports. They provide extensive FTTH capabilities, connecting over 20 million homes and managing 26,000 kilometers of submarine cables.
