NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) has entered into an agreement with FSM Telecommunications Cable Corporation (FSMTCC), BwebwerikiNet Limited (BNL) of the Republic of Kiribati, and Nauru Fibre Cable Corporation (NFCC) of the Republic of Nauru to construct, supply and install the East. NEC Corporation has completed construction of the East Micronesia Cable System (EMCS), a 2,250 km subsea cable connecting the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Kiribati, and Nauru. The new system links Tarawa in Kiribati to Nauru, then extends through Kosrae to Pohnpei in FSM, bringing. The Site is owned and operated by Developing Telecoms Limited ('the Owner', 'we', 'us', 'our').
