The IPC-A-640, Acceptance Requirements for Optical Fiber, Optical Cable and Hybrid Wiring Harness Assemblies standard provides acceptance requirements and technical insight for cable and wire harness assemblies incorporating optical fiber, optical cable and hybrid wiring technology. Developed by the Fiber Optic Cable Acceptability Task Group (7-31m) of the Product Assurance Committee (7-30) of IPC. Users of this publication are encouraged to participate in the development of future revisions. NEIS® are intended to be referenced in contrac documents for electrical construction ation or liability to users of this publication. It is the most rigorous level of testing, designed to ensure that a fiber network fully complies with recognized industry standards such as TIA-568 or ISO/IEC 11801.
